We’re Fame Burgers, and we like to think that burgers should be one of life’s simple pleasures A piping hot pile of greasy goodness, served on a bakery bun and topped with gooey cheese, classic condiments or whatever it is you’re craving, whenever (and wherever) you want. Go ahead: Pile your burger as high as you can with cheese, lettuce, bacon, jalapeno (hey, throw some beef brisket on there for all we care!) but don’t pretend that humble patty is something it’s not. The burger business was humming along just fine before the foodies and celebrity chefs swooped in and started slathering everything in figs and goat cheese (not to mention those prices!). Really good food and friendly staff:) The location is nice and the atmosphere is fun too. We’re a motley crew of prep cooks, fry fiends, line lifers and burger bosses, and we’re tired of truffle oil. The burgers here might just be the best I’ve ever had, which is why I’ve gone more than once, and when people ask if I have any preferences for going out to eat, I slip “Stack’d” in my answer. The burger was so flavorful, and filling, that despite the fact I went in there ravenous, I had half a burger and what looked to be a full serving of fries left (it wasn’t, they just serve you so many!) He even let me know he’d tell the kitchen not to put butter on my bun, something I’m not used to a server beating me at the punch on. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was very helpful and knowledgeable about the vegan items on the menu, directing me to which burger (I had the house made black bean), which side (as stated I chose the sweet potato fries), and which bun (surprisingly, the pretzel bun) fit my dietary needs. Huge burgers, served with a large side of thick cut sweet potato fries, and a bartender who knows how to make drinks definitely was the cure to my hangover. This was just the place I needed to stop on after a late night closing down Wolski’s the night before. This place is a MUST if you want a good meal in Milwaukee! The patio is fun to sit on if you like to watch the petal taverns go by too. Parking isn’t too hard to find if you go down the street a little. I recommend the “kick in the pants burger.” We’re big fans of the fried pickles that they put on top of most of the burgers. We LOVE this place! Awesome rotation of beers and the burgers are always hot and delicious. Her burger was topped with fried pickles(not vegan) that she said were to die for! Very happy with our lunch selection! Filled up on half the meal each so we were able to take a full size meal to the airport for later munching! Out door seating was great and we were not forgotten! I ordered the black stack with a gluten free bun(not vegan) and vegan cheese best veggie paddy I have ever had! My mom got a build your own with mozzarella tomato, lettuce, pickle and sweet fries. French fries and sweet fries were crispy and warm. Great fast service, vegan and gluten free options and helpful staff. I’m definitely going to bring my boyfriend for dinner. I just had a few bites my coworker shared her lunch with me, the spicy chicken sandwich is AMAZING the chicken is perfectly cooked and literally the BEST sweet potato fries I’ve ever had in my entire life. I would still 100% recommend stack’d, especially if you’re a burger person since there are so many options to build your own! We were able to sit right away with 5 people and had good service! My only complaint would be that they were playing pretty loud screamo music, which was slightly distracting. The finishing touch of the fried pickle on the top of the sandwiches was the best part and I could definitely go for a whole basket of them. I will definitely be back! All of the food was extremely good and there were multiple options I wanted to try. We went to Stack’d for a work lunch and I had been waiting awhile to give it a try.
